Rudy DeFelice is part of the founding team of Keesal Propulsion Labs (KP Labs), a stand-alone company related to Keesal, Young & Logan, that is focused on legal process automation and innovation in legal services. Rudy is an early pioneer in legal technology and has been involved in innovation in the legal space for 20 years. In 2000 he left an international law firm to found Practice Technologies, Inc. PTI has many innovations to its name, including building the first auto-categorization engine, one of the first cloud solutions and one of the first workflow platforms, before being named to the Inc. 5000 and acquired. Rudy speaks regularly at national technology conferences, has been interviewed on CNN, ABC, The Wall Street Journal, and other media outlets on technology issues, is a best-selling author, and has advised or invested in a number of tech-related companies in the legal space. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and Harvard Business School.
